About the practice
Yes Abiding brings together present-moment awareness, self-compassion, contemplative spirituality, and practical discernment. Its central movement is simple: recognize what is here, remain without abandoning yourself, include the whole human person in care, and choose the next wise response.
Some language on this site is Christian, some reflects mindfulness and Buddhist contemplative practice, and some is universal. Visitors are invited to use the words that support kindness, truth, dignity, and less harm.
About G. Ross Clark
Ross is a mindfulness teacher who qualified through the University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness in 2007. His work has been shaped by many years of meditation, Christian devotion, chronic pain, family life, and the continuing question of how to meet suffering without turning against ourselves.
His guiding phrases include “Noting is enough,” “For now, this is enough,” and “It all belongs to LOVE.”
What this site can and cannot offer
This is an educational and spiritual resource. It does not diagnose illness, provide psychotherapy, replace medical care, or promise particular outcomes. Practices should be adapted to age, health, trauma history, faith, and personal capacity.
A closing intention
May they support dignity, not passivity.
May they make room for wise help.
May every person remember: suffering deserves companionship.
